Day 1:
Arrival at Srinagar International airport – Transfer to hotel- Rest or go for walk on the bank of world famous Dal lake – Dinner-overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2:
Breakfast – Visit to Mughal Gardens: Nishat – Shalimar and CheshmaShahi (The big spring) – Hazratbal shrine-PariMahal (for view of the world famous Dal lake and sunset )–Dinner – Return to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 3:
Breakfast –Leave for Pahalgam (95 kms from Srinagar)- Stop on the way for Saffron Agriculture – Tour around main Pahalgam –Dinner – overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 4:
Breakfast -Leave for picnic to BetaabVadi (7 kms from Pahalgam) – Leave for Aru (12 kms from Pahalgam) – Dinner -Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5:
Go for morning walk on the bank of river lidder – Breakfast – Leave for Srinagar – Stop on the way to see historical Awantipora temples – Reach Srinagar –Transfer to Houseboat –Free time –Dinner -overnight stay in the Houseboat.

Day 6:
Breakfast – Tour to old city: Historical Jamia Masjid – Almond Garden – Old city Market – Shrines of old city – Free time – Dinner and return to Houseboat for overnight stay

Golden Triangle

The Golden Triangle is a classic introduction to India. If you’ve never been to India before, then this is the best start. India’s Golden Triangle comprises of the three most visited cities in the country – Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, which are all connected to each other by good road and rail links. These cities are very popular among the foreign tourists and are widely visited by them. They are situated approximately at the same distance from each other and on the map, these form a roughly equilateral triangle, therefore popularly known as “Golden Triangle”. This triangle has been dubbed “Golden” for the extraordinary wealth of cultural and historical splendor on offer in each of the three cities.

Jaipur ( pink city) capital of the largely desert state of Rajasthan, is home to some of Asia’s best bazaars. You could spend weeks in Delhi, the sprawling, fascinating Indian capital, and not see it all, while Agra, once the heart of the Mughal empire, boasts the unparalleled beauty of the Taj Mahal – the symbol of love, which adorns the banks of the Yamuna river.

Day 1:
Arrival at Indra Gandhi International Airport Delhi.Meeting and assistance on arrival. Transfer to hotel for the overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi
Morning tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi) – Lotus Temple – Akshardham Temple – Jamia Masjid (the largest mosque of India) and drive past Red Fort – Also visit QutubMinar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199 – India Gate (War Memorial Arch ) – Also drive past Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight stay in Delhi hotel.

Day 3 – Delhi – Jaipur (260 kms – 5 hrs)
Morning drive to Jaipur (The Pink City) – On arrival check in at hotel – Have some rest – Afternoon tour of Jaipur

CITY PALACE – A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, ShriGovindDev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

JANTAR MANTAR – This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh- II in different parts of the country. The observatory consists of fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time, predicting eclipses, tracking stars’ location as the earth orbits around the sun, ascertaining the declinations of planets, and determining the celestial altitudes and related ephemerides.

HAWA MAHAL – The ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

Day 4 – Jaipur
After a relaxed breakfast proceed for a morning excursion to Amber Fort

AMBER FORT PALACE – Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression. Continue sight-seeing.

JAIGARH FORT – The Western skyline is dominated by the extensive parkotas (Walls), watch-towers and gateways of Jaigarh. It is one of the few military structures of medieval India preserved almost intact containing palaces, gardens, open and covered reservoirs, a grannary, an armoury, a well planned cannon foundry, several temples, a tall tower and a giant mounted cannon the Jai Ban the largest in the Country.LAXMI NARAYAN TEMPLE – Situated in the south of Jaipur, Laxmi Narayan Temple is one of the many such temples built by wealthy Birla family in India, thus it is also known as Birla Mandir. The temple is a great reminder of the secular traditions India has shown over the centuries. The temple has been constructed in white marble and has three domes, each portraying the different approaches to religion. The temple is situated at the foot of MotiDoongri Fort, converted as a small palace by Ram Singh II for his wife Gayatri Devi. Night stay in Jaipur.

Day 5 – Jaipur – Agra (245 kms – 5/6 hrs)
After Breakfast drive to Agra enrouteFatehpurSikri – the deserted red sandstone city. FatehpurSikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jamia Masjid, Tomb of SalimChisti, PanchMahal and other Palaces. Also visit the BulundDarwaza, the largest gateway in the world. Continue drive to Agra and upon arrival rest of the day is free and stay overnight in the hotel at Agra.

Day 6 – Agra
Morning visit the world famous TajMahal (One of the seven wonders of the world) built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahala Muslim Persian princess.to enshrine her mortal remains.Construction began in 1631 and was completed in 22 years. Twenty thousand people were deployed to work on it. An Iranian architect designed it and it is best appreciated when the architecture and its adornments are linked to the passion that inspired it. It is a “symbol of eternal love”.

Also visit Agra Fort-the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.

Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father (Also known as Baby TajMahal)

Then have some free time and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 7 – Agra – Delhi (206 kms – 4 hrs.Approx.)
Have breakfast and some relaxing time. Leave for Delhi by car and transfer to the hotel. Transfer to the Airport either for the next destination or home.

This tour package has been designed for those people who don’t have enough time to stay. Keep this thing in consideration, we have specially designed this package so that they don’t miss visiting important destinations here which are just like “Pearls of Kashmir”.

Day 1:
Arrival at Srinagar international airport (2:30 pm) – Transfer to hotel – Take some rest – Go for relaxing shikara ride on the world famous Dal Lake – overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2:
Tour of Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Cheshma Shahi (the big spring), Pari Mahal – Shankarcharya temple (Optional) – transfer to hotel – overnight stay there.

Day 3:
Breakfast – leave for Pahalgam (95 kms from Srinagar) – on the way stop in the saffron fields and at ruins of ancient Awantipora temple – Reach Pahalgam transfer to Hotel. Have some rest and do tour of main Pahalgam – overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 4:
Breakfast – Leave for picnic to Chandanwari and Betaab Valley (16kms and 7kms from here respectively) –In the late afternoon either leave for Baisaran 8 kms from here (only through horse ride) or transfer to hotel to take rest – overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5:
Breakfast – leave for Aru to see the scenic beauty (12 kms from here )- then Leave back for Srinagar – transfer to hotel – Have rest/free time – overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 6:
Breakfast – Leave for Gulmarg (about 50 kms from here) – Check in the hotel on arrival – Tour of main Gulmarg – overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 7:
Breakfast – Leave for Gondola ride (World’s highest) spend time there till afternoon in the mountains on snow. Leave for Srinagar and overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 8:
Breakfast – Leave for one day trip to Sonmarg – the meadow of gold (about 100 kms from here) – Visit thajiwas glacier and tour of main sonmarg – Leave back to srinagar – transfer to houseboat for overnight stay.

Day 9:
Breakfast – Have a beautiful view of the Lake from houseboat – free time – time for shopping – leave for Srinagar international airport for departure– transfer to your sweet home with sweet memories.

Ladakh Itinerary

Details
Day 01: Arrive Leh:
Altitude 11500ft.

Upon arrival in Leh, you will be met by our representative at the airport and transferred by car to your Hotel. You are advised to take complete rest for acclimatization, a must at high altitude. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Leh:
Acclimatisation and a bit of sightseeing.

After lunch, if you are feeling fine, we will go on a 2-hour jeep tour starting with Sankar Gompa. Located on a valley floor it is the home to Lamas who belong to the yellow sect of Buddhism and worship his Holiness – The Dalai Lama. Next, we will visit Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist religious monument built by an Indian based Japanese Monk whose intention was to spread Buddhisim by building such stupas throughout the world. Later we will visit Leh Palace, built in the 17th century and looking for all the world like a miniature version of the Potala in Lhasa. The rest of the day is free for personal activities. Meals and overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Leh:
Excursion to Likir and Alchi.

Alchi is Ladakh’s most beautiful monastery. Over a century old, its wall paintings are very similar to those of the Tabo gompa in Spiti. These paintings propound the Ajanta style of painting. Unlike other monasteries, which are usually located on a cliff top or cling to a mountainside, Alchi is at ground level and is nestled in the shade of a garden. Likir gompa situated atop a windy cliff top overlooks the beautiful village of Likir. It was founded in the 12th Century although the present construction dates back to the 18th century as the original one was destroyed by fire. In its courtyard is a yellow-coloured 3 storey high mammoth statue of the Lord Buddha, which was constructed by a resident monk. The top floor houses an impressive museum containing old thangkas and weapons used many centuries back. Drive on to Leh and reach in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04:
Full day Shey, Thikse, Hemis, Stok.

8am: Today we will visit the southern circuit of Shey, Thikse, Hemis and Stok. Shey (15kms) is the oldest of them all. Perched on top of a huge rock are the royal palace and temples resplendent with brilliantly colored murals and a 7.5 metre gold statue of the Buddha. Stok Palace over the bridge and across the river from Leh is the home of the former royal family. The last king of Ladakh died here in 1974. The palace museum here has a multitude of beautiful royal costumes and jewellery, exquisite thangkas (cloth paintings), porcelain artifacts, weapons and some fine masks. Spectacularly located Thikse monastery (20 kms) has an excellent collection of Tibetan books and is noted for its excellent artwork. From the roof one can get fabulous views of the valleys and villages. Take a break at the small café in the monastery. Hemis monastery the largest gompa in Ladakh is about 43 kms south of Leh. It is known for its exceptional library and for its grand summer festival that celebrates the birth anniversary of Guru Padmasambhava. The largest thangka in Ladakh is kept in the precincts of this gompa. It is unfolded only once every 12 years. O/n at hotel in Leh.

Day 05:
A long drive to Tso Moriri through spectacular landscapes and rough roads via Chumathang hot springs into Rupshu Valley – 240 kms, 8 hours.

Tsomiri, at 4595 m / 15165 feet, is the largest of the High Altitude Lakes to be situated entirely within India. It is 180 square kms in area and about 25 kms / 15 miles long and 7 kms / 4-5 miles wide.Overnight in deluxe camp at Tso Moriri.

Day 06:
Drive back to Leh. Transfer to hotel . Free time, relaxing time. Over night stay here.

Day 07:
Day trip to Pangong Tso lake! 5 hrs one way drive.

At 14,000 ft, it is simply awesome! Its blue green waters reflect the entire mountain scape surrounding it. It is the largest saline water lake in Asia. The Lake is virtually an inland sea, 150 km long and 10 km wide. Pangong Tso is the highest lake in Ladakh and is flanked by massive peaks over 6500 m high and extends almost in a straight line, way into Tibet. In fact only a quarter of the lake is in India and rest in China. You will see spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north, their reflections shimmering in the ever-changing blues and greens of the lake’s brackish waters. Return by late evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08:
Leh Departure

Check out from hotel in time to catch your flight back home or transfer to your next destination.
